Giordano emailed my gmail account and said i'm in their mailing list. i have no idea why. i bet claire gave them my email add. the other time she gave my add for some econs lecture.

my parents are going to Alantic City tomorrow. i want to gamble too!! sigh. dont know what my cousins and i are gonna end up doing.
my brother is really annoying. my cousin had free tickets for the basball game tonight(Mets against dont know who), so he asked my brother to ask me if i wanted to go he didnt ask me until the last minute. it was too late. what an idiot. ughhh.

ok, i must say this. i'm not a freaking substitute. so do me a favour and let me have some peace. thank you very much.

my dad just reached home. he brought my bolster and radio!
havent been sleeping well recently. i think maybe i need sleeping pills. haha. no side effects right? since i'm so bored i decided to make a shopping list.

my cousin said that there's this thing called the 'freshmen friday' in her high school. every first friday of the month, they'll beat the shit out of the freshmen. she said it gets really bloody. sooo scary.

received two unexpected calls today. what a day. claire called. i dont know why i just couldnt stop laughing when i heard her voice over the line. i was surprised she called.
then, chow wee called. that was a even bigger surprise. claire calls me once in a while but chow wee? i never talked to him ever since i left singapore. wow.

the other day my cousin was telling me that his wife wanted to buy him a convertible but he didnt want it. i told him he's crazy and that i would make my husband buy me a BMW convertible.
i'll drive it out everyday and not go home. haha. my cousin said he's gonna crash my wedding and stop my marriage. how evil.

started listening to rap and hip hop after i came here. it's not bad after all. i used to hate it quite a bit.

Saturday, September 11, 2004 11:32 p.m.

my cousin, william took us to the beach today. we brought our own beach chairs! it was like the funniest tanning session ever.
we reached Jones Beach at about 10am. it was soooo cold. there was sun but it was also so windy. instead of trying to get a tan, my cousins wrapped themselves with their beach towels and i had my jacket on. haha.
played frisbee AGAIN. picked seashells too. the seashells are like gigantic. this lady saw me collecting and she gave me a shell to add to my collection. americans are so friendly. after visiting Jones Beach, i dont think i'll ever want to go to sentosa again.

the beach was packed. people bring their own umbrellas, chairs, kites, shovels, everything. you cant rent stuff here. the beach was so colourful.
they had planes carrying advertisements on banners flying across the sky at intervals because there were so many people.
we bought 33 bucks worth of hamburgers and hotdogs for lunch. the cashier was like, "whoa. you want a drink too?" we didnt want but he said it was on him. haha. he gave us a large lemonade for free.

tanned till 3pm. when we were leaving i couldnt find my slippers. my cousin then confessd that he buried it but he couldnt remember where it was. we searched for like 30mins in total!! i didnt want it anymore but i think he felt bad so he insisted that we continue searching. we were like digging the wrong spot the whole time. found it in the end.

went to Roosevelt Field Mall after that. i think it's now one of my favourite shopping places! there's like almost everything i want. Guess, French Connection, Abercrombie and Fitch, Forever 21, and many more. my cousin said AX is pretty cheap here. i only had an hour to shop. got a tshirt, a skirt and earrings.
and although i only bought a shirt from Abercrombie, they gave me this HUGE paper bag. so i was like holding 2 big paper bags. looked as though i bought a lot of stuff. made me feel good. haha.
there's this perfume at fcuk which i really like. it kinda smells like CKbe though. i really like it!! hope my dad will get it for me.
i'm going back there again next week because my dad is coming. he promised to give me money to go shopping. yay!!! i need more clothes. i really dont want to buy winter clothes. i just want to get more skirts. ok i'm retarded.

after that, we all went to helen's house for steak. the adults had ice wine and we had sparkling cider. it tastes like zapple, but nicer. william taught us how to play poker.
i was winning at first then i lost all my money. haha. i like poker. we started playing poker because william bought a movie called "Rounder" which has something to do with poker. we were gonna watch it but it was too late.
